Sin Yun is an associate based in our Johor Bahru office, where her main area of practice is general civil litigation, dispute resolution and real estate and project development.

Sin Yun attends to court at various jurisdictions regularly and she has experiences in areas such as family law; contractual disputes; debt recovery; employment dispute; tenancy dispute; will and probate, letter of administration and small estate distribution related matters.

Aside from the above matters, Sin Yun has also represented various property developers and individual clients in sale transaction for residential properties.

Experience

Represented a company in a trade union dispute in Industrial Court.
Represented individuals (creditors) in recovering debt against the debtors and successfully obtained summary judgment and consent judgment in Sessions’ Court and Magistrate’s Court on behalf of clients.
Represented and giving advice to landlords in relation to the Distress Action and Writ of Possession, for recovery of rental due and payable in Sessions’ Court.
Advised and represented individual clients on joint petition divorce, unilateral petition divorce, nullity and resealing of divorce matters in High Court and Court of Appeal.
Advised and represented individual clients on will and probate matters in High Court.
Advised and represented individual clients in bankruptcy, winding-up petition and discharge of bankruptcy matters.
