Winn Wong is a senior associate based in our Kuala Lumpur office. His main areas of practice include Intellectual Property, Technology, Media & Telecommunications, and Privacy and Cybersecurity.
With extensive experience in IP litigation and disputes, Winn Wong handles cases involving all IP rights – trademarks, copyright, industrial designs, patents, trade secret and confidential information, and has represented clients as junior counsel in the Malaysian courts at all levels.
In addition, Winn’s practice includes a strong focus on the protection and enforcement of IP rights. He has led numerous anti-piracy and anti-counterfeiting initiatives, managing both criminal and civil enforcement actions for clients across various industries, both local and international.
Winn also provides advisory support on a broad range of IP rights and compliance and regulatory matters relating to commercial sales contract, advertising and entertainment, media law, licensing and certification. Further, Winn is experienced in all aspects data privacy laws including providing guidance on data security measures in ensuring compliance with data protection laws and regulations.
