Adrian is a senior associate based in our Kuala Lumpur office, where his areas of practice include public and private mergers and acquisitions, corporate restructuring, joint ventures and general corporate advisory works and corporate real estate.

Adrian has been involved in transactions across wide range of industries including manufacturing, technology, retail, energy and infrastructure and financial services.

Adrian has experience in cross-border and domestic transactions and has represented multinational corporations and SMEs as well as private equity funds as lead transaction counsel in Malaysia and the APAC region. Specifically, Adrian regularly advises various Chinese companies and private equity funds on M&A transactions in Malaysia.

  • Advised Mestron Holdings Berhad, a public company listed on the ACE Market of Bursa Malaysia, on its minority acquisition of 10% equity interest in Winstar Aluminium Manufacturing Sdn Bhd for a total cash consideration of RM6 million, with an option to purchase further 20% of the total issued share capital of Winstar Aluminium Manufacturing Sdn Bhd for total cash consideration of RM12 million.
  • Advised a logistics company on its acquisition of all the assets owned by another third-party logistics company, which includes, amongst others, commercial vehicles and real properties, for a cash consideration of RM32 million.
  • Advised a Malaysian property developer on its investment and subscription for ordinary shares of a property developer of an abandoned project in Kuala Lumpur, for a total consideration of RM41 million.
  • Advised a Chinese company on the acquisition of the industrial land located at Malaysia China Kuantan Industrial Park, measuring approximately 250 acres for a total consideration of around RM130 million.
  • Advised Ahmad Zaki Sdn Bhd, a wholly-owned subsidiary of Ahmad Zaki Resources Berhad, a public company listed on the Main Market of Bursa Malaysia, on its acquisition of a piece of freehold industrial land located in Batang Kali, Selangor measuring approximately 19.26 hectares and the factory erected on the land for a total cash consideration of RM41 million.
