Aida is an Associate in the Technology Practice Group at HHQ With a strong foundation in corporate and commercial law, her work primarily focuses on corporate and transactional matters within the TMT (Technology, Media & Telecommunications) and Fintech sectors.

Over the course of her practice, Aida has advised a diverse range of clients, including individuals, start-ups, and both private and public companies, across multiple industries. These include healthcare, technology, renewable energy, intellectual property, land acquisition, and government-linked initiatives. Her breadth of experience spans various sectors and transaction types, from complex equity acquisitions to regulatory compliance and commercial agreements.

Work Highlights

  • Advised client on their business model including regulatory compliance pursuant to the recent tabling of Consumer Credit Bill 2025;
  • Advised an e-government services provider on the implementation of an e-guarantee platform;
  • Advised on the acquisition of 100% equity of an Operation & Maintenance company for a hydro power plant in East Malaysia;
  • Advised a fund management company on its compliance to Securities Commission guidelines including applying for required licenses to the Securities Commission;
  • Involved in an acquisition of 70% equity in a multinational corporation in heavy industry by a Singapore corporate;
  • Assisted a SPV to KLSE Main Board Listed Company and a State Government subsidiary for an occupation of land for the development of hydro power plant in East Malaysia;
  • Assisted in an engagement by a start-up infrastructure company in its series of equity financing with various investors including a wholly owned subsidiary in PETRONAS;
  • Advised for various commercial transactions such as licensing agreements, reseller agreements, distributor agreements, memorandum of understanding and more.
