Justin holds a Bachelor of Laws (Hons) degree from Nottingham Trent University and was admitted to the Bar of England and Wales as a Barrister of Lincoln’s Inn in 2015. He was admitted as an Advocate & Solicitor of the High Court of Malaya in 2016.

Justin’s area of practice primarily focuses on corporate and commercial matters and conveyancing. He has experience in providing advisory services to clients listed on the Kuala Lumpur Stock Exchange (Bursa Securities), undertaking various corporate exercises such as initial public offering, mergers and acquisitions, placement, rights issue, divestments and diversification.

His banking and finance experience includes advising on financing for projects and real estate.

 Justin also has experience in advising commercial and legal matters which comprise of cargo, logistics, E-commerce platforms and setting up of foreign offices for overseas entities.

  • Investment by institutional credit investors USD50 million in a Malaysian company principally involved in the business of cargo and air freight logistics.
  • Investment by a subsidiary of a Malaysian public company listed on the Main Market of Bursa Securities (Malaysian Stock Exchange) of USD9.8 million in a Malaysian company principally involved in the business of online food delivery platform.
  • Advising on the grant of Islamic banking facilities in the maximum aggregate principal amount of RM700 million by a Malaysian public company bank listed on the Main Market of Bursa Securities (Malaysian Stock Exchange) to a Malaysian company principally involved in the production and exportation of palm oil; and 
  • Advising on the grant of banking facilities totalling RM175 million by a Malaysian public company bank listed on the Main Market of Bursa Securities (Malaysian Stock Exchange) to a Malaysian company principally involved in the real estate property management sector.
