Shanne is an Associate in HHQ’s Technology Practice Group, where she specialises in regulatory, advisory, and litigation work across the Telecommunications, Media, Technology (TMT), Data Protection, and Fintech sectors.

Shanne has experience advising large corporations on regulatory compliance, with a particular focus on data protection laws. She provides legal opinions and strategic guidance on data privacy compliance, cross-border data transfer issues, and operational risk mitigation. Shanne works closely with clients to navigate complex regulatory landscapes, ensuring adherence to local data protection requirements.

In addition, Shanne has advised fintech companies on regulatory frameworks and assisted them in obtaining licences from regulators. She also has experience drafting and negotiating a wide range of commercial agreements, including licensing and technology services agreements. Shanne’s practice includes technology-related dispute resolution, particularly in contractual disputes and debt recovery matters.
